I think that 1 or 2 hours would be long enough to wait before you picked best answer for a question. After that not to many people answer any way. Pluse that would reduce the people forgetting to pick a best answer and clean up some of these old questions that everyone hates having around.

LOL, whats your big hurry? I suspect you want what you want now and lack perhaps a little patients? Now that in itself is an issue you can work on. Patients has it's virtues. Besides give it at least two days.

Yeah, I agree. There are so many questions getting asked so frequently that before you know your question is on page 5 where no one is ever going to add to it. Also, some questions have a specific answer ie who sings this song, so as soon as you get the correct answer you don't need a million answers telling you what the title of the song is.

It depends on the question and response. Normally, a couple of hours is adequate. I don't like the "Celebrity" questions because they generate too many responses and run forever. Have you ever tried to see what everyone said to those questions? I tried to read the comments that Hillary Clinton got regarding health care reform and finally gave up. Wondered if she ever read them.

I actually kind of like being surprised with a best answer from something I answered three days ago and had forgotten about.
