I have a lot of lady friends, and in the summer time, they go swimming, so I wait until then, and get a picture when they are in a two piece swim suit or a bikini. If they wear a bikini, they are proud of their belly, and it is easy to get a picture, all you have to do ...is ask. I've never had one to say "no" yet, so wait until summer.
In the winter time....no, I would not ask any gal to take a picture of their belly.

If you have a interest in her belly, and you want her to know about your interest in her belly, then by all means ask her.
But be ready for her to ask questions, and in the worst case, break it off with you. But if she does, then probably not the right girl for you anyway... You need one that has compatible interests.

For what reason? No.
Nude photography and photography of expectant mothers are considered serious art forms. Now if you want your lady friend to model for any of these, you can ask her and she will not feel insulted.
