Of course, white people should have their own month dedicated to their history. White people built this country, didn't they? White people invented all of the items ALL other cultures utilize today and are always stepped on as racist assholes. I believe white people deserve more than just one month of dedication! Hell, they invented everything good in this entire world, haven't they? I'm sick of everyone in the mainstream media always talking about how wonderful the blacks and asians are. White people have always been the greatest, and will always be! Just takes them time to get tired of being controlled by the jews... whites will rise again like they always do!

No, There shouldn't be a black history month either. The more we keep bringing up race the longer the diffrences still exist. Martin Luther King DID NOT want blacks to have special months and be treated diffrent. We are all the same celebrate diffrences and embrace similarities. But if they are we should have white, red, yellow, orange, really really tan, zit face month etc.

No. There shouldn't be a Black History Month, either. It implies that Blacks have a history separate and apart from the rest of American History. They don't. Everything from slavery to Martin Luther King is as much a part of American History as anything else.

No, because we cover white history all the time. I like white history. I like reading about how my viking and saxonforefathers pillaged and plundered Europe. HOWEVER, dedicating only one month to black history is unfair. I don't like anything that's only for one color, especially clubs, associations, and months. There's no reason we can't integrate the acheivements of black folks in with the achievements of white folks.

I remember in school, we spend a semester on Europe, and about a week each on Asia and Africa. Can't remember talking much about the Middle East. It's all important, and all needs to be related together.

I would say yes, but then I would be a racist and that I am not. Where we are now we are the minority. I don't care if you are black, white asian, african, european, russian, chinese or middle eastern. You live in this country you are an American. I don't call my self an Irish American, why, because I was born in America. Not Ireland. You want to be African American than go to Africa live with "Your People" and than come back and you can call your self an African American. What is Ok for one group is racist for another and that is just wrong. I want my kids to go to school for free based on there skin color! Get special favors because of there color. Get jobs because of there color of there skin. Yeah, Us white people are the racist though. Blacks have Martin Luther King day, We have presidents day, Blacks have kuwanza, we have christmas We all celebrate New Years, Valentines day, Hell, St. Patricks day is for the Irish, Oh, sorry they are white too! April fools is for everyone, Mothers day is not a racial holiday, The 4th of July is for those of us that actually love this country, Halloween is just for us kids at heart all of us, and Thanksgiving is for those that found this country and there meal. Oh, but Blacks have a month for themselves but they can do that. We cannot not. My ancestors were brought over by there own also and were slaves in a similiar way in the north. But do I get resitution for them. No. I think we do need white history month. A lot of famous people are going unheard of for there place in this country.

There is such a mixture of skin tones that it,s like having what color any month you want. The only one that stands out in my mind is black history month, Why?i can,t say.Now most of the movies older ones that is was pretty much the same color depending the story and setting. In some insidences only one color comes across, Today is more mixture.I,m white but attracted to different skin tone.Doesn,t make much sense to some of you i know. Most of our real white pale gals are gone. All is left is what is captured on screen.

Right. Pick up any grade school, middle school or high school history book and you automatically get the scope of the great things white people have done. It's what everyone is taught in school, the rest is just window dressing. In this country, every day is White Day and every month is White History Month. That's sort of the point as to why black people had to carve a month out to shine a light on themselves. I used to work at a hospital mainly staffed by African-Americans. During Black History Month, as you walked down the halls there were posters and information sheets about so many black people who have done wonderful things - IMPORTANT things. Yet, I never would have heard of them if it weren't for this celebratory month. Funny, somehow most of them just never made it into my text books.

Why do we need a white history month? Heck, why do we need a black history month? All races are equal, so why should we show deference to one or another by dedicating a month to its history?

Lincolns B-Day, Valentines Day, Presidents Day, Washingtons Birthday, St Patricks Day, Columbus Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter.
Subjecting African Americans to slavery and not giving them civil rights, or treating them fairly for decades.
And you still jealous about them having the shortest month designated for Black History Month.
Very very sad. God have mercy on your soul.

If our country established a White History Month, it would undoubtedly consist of the white man's march through other cultures and ethnicities. 30 days of how the white man destroyed everyone. They'd try to use it as a means to humble us. It might just give us ideas. Everyone knows we be crazy.

No....I don't want a month to placate me. I want my tax dollars back.
