Email the seller and explain that you no longer wish to purchase the item for that price and that you are sorry for the inconveniance. They can not automatically take your money and if you do not pay you will not be punished besides getting some negative feedback from the seller on your account.

Have you tried contacting the seller? Most sellers I have dealt with are really easy going and understanding.
You could try and explain the situation and if an arrangement cant be made I guess you will just have to put up with having negative feedback in your profile.
In regards to the CC information Im sure they cannot take the payment out automatically without your authorisation!
Hope this helps :)

Unfortunately you can't retract the bid once you've won the item, you can try to contact the seller but 9 times out of 10 they will be unwilling to forfeit the bid. Your best bet is to take a negative feedback on that one and try again.

Once you have said yes to anything on ebay, you, by law, have bought the product by placing the highest bid. If you do not purchase the item as agreed, ebay can refuse you to enter or use the site. (BLACK BANNED)

Or you can do what the rest of us 'coco'nutts' do;
'pay up & cop it sweet'!

You pressed the key that gave you the last chance to pull out,
'CONFIRM'.........................
that you agree with their terms & you said yes.
