I said she was too young for that kind of atmosphere. At what age would you let your daughter go to a rock concert?

Borrow her CD and listen to it. Read the liner notes. If your daughter really wants to go, get her to wear ear protection. (She doesn't want to be a deaf old lady.) Try finding an older, more responsible person--say 18-21, at least--who might want to go with her and a friend. (A neighbor, a sibling, a cousin, a family friend whom you *really* trust.) Pick her up *right* in front of the venue, *right* at a designated time. It's definitely possible to compromise, and I'm sure she's rather go with compromises to allay your concerns than not go at all.

Patent Pending? Hmmmm..... Not sure if that really is a band.
To answer your question, I was 14 when I went to my first concert (which was the Cure; yes, I am OLD!!!! Sniff....), but an adult came with me to make sure I was all right and wouldn't come out of the concert with a drug addiction, Satanic ideals and a nosebleed. :) The atmosphere can be a little overwhelming, I grant you, but it was a huge rush. You're worried about bad influences from the band and/or their fans, aren't you? Well, if your daughter thinks it is uncool for you to go with her (don't know if you'd even want to), then maybe she can go with an adult you both trust. I wouldn't allow her to go with just a group of her peers.... God knows what may happen.

If these are the guys, I wouldn't worry:

However, I strongly suspect she's after these guys:

15 is about the right time to let them go slowly, and saying "no" could only push her away. If she goes in a group with kids you know, let her go; otherwise, be tactful and explain why it's no can do. Hang in there for 3 more years, girls turn normal at 18, unlike guys... we never get serious LOL

at that age i know if i was told no it would just make me more determined to go...rock concerts are no more worse than attending a britney or lindsay lohan concert now they are good role models.!!!..not, its time to see how u raised ur little girl n give her the chance to make choices in the real world, choices iam sure she has faced before at school etc.

by the way the band is harmless, very very crap but harmless

No no no.
Let her go, 15 is old enough!
Dont pick her up after, well do, but not RIGHT after.
She might want to see if she can get an autograph.
Thats always something you wanna go home with.

Google The Band.

I've heard of them they're like a satanist rock band. Have you ever heard of Marilyn Manson they are a group like that. They have sex and to drugs on stage its really amazing.
