To call myself a bisexual even when I've never had a relationship or even kissed a guy or a girl? I'm 20 years old and for at least a couple of years now I've liked women as much as men. No one seems to want to be with me because they know that I've never been with anyone before and most people think I'm just confused about my sexuality. Should I just call myself bi-curious until I have experienced it with a guy and a girl and then I can call myself bisexual?

Take it from me, a bisexual virgin who's never even kissed a guy or a girl- you DON'T have to be with anyone to call yourself bisexual. You aren't 'bicurious'; that is for people who feel some attraction towards both sexes, but aren't yet sure if it's truly sexual. If you absolutely know what you want, you're bisexual.

Don't believe people who tell you that you need to have sexual experiences with one or both sexes in order to be bisexual. By that logic, all virgins are technically without sexual orientation, yet there are millions of virgins out there who know they are straight or gay, and yes, bisexual, too.

Don't worry if people call you confused. I've heard people use the term 'confused' on bisexuals who have been out as bi for decades, who have slept with both sexes, and who are clear in their preferences . . . people are generally misinformed and prejudiced when it comes to bisexuality.

You know who you are; don't question it, and be proud.

Hope that helps!

I always say you don't know what you like and what you don't until you try it, so I say go and experiment a little, and then decide how you feel after.
Putting a label on your sexuality I think is completely unimportant, especially in a case like this. Call yourself a loving human, a more important label and for the most part, highly appreciated.
Good Luck ;]

My personal opinion is that is long as you are actually interested in pursuing relationships with either sex you are bi-curious. Once you've had a relationship with a woman and would have another, you would be bisexual.

But then again, I also think people are too hung up on labels. Call yourself what you want!

You got a lot of thinking going on. Maybe you need to do more, or, you need to find someone that will take your virginity for you. Nothing wrong with the desires you are having. You want to be with some one sexually, you want sex. You do not care man or woman, which is fine. I hope you find that someone. My opinion is: you cannot call yourself Bi unless you have had sex with both sexes. Peace

Why even bother with lables?

Honey, think of all the people out there who call themselves "straight". Many of them haven't had ANY experience with someone of the opposite, but they still call themselves straight. Why? Because they are attracted to people of the opposite sex.

Basically, if you fall in love with a girl, well that's what happens. If you fall in love with a guy, same deal.

Lables are a waste of time anyway. Just let yourself fall in love.

Since you have never been with either, I think bi-curious would be a better fit. I think you should get out there and date and experience both to make up your mind. It's normal to be confused with your sexuality. The best way to get over that is experiment. Just be sure that you take the proper precautions to protect yourself against STDs.

Does a bisexual person call herself bisexual until she marries, then refers to herself as either "gay" or "straight"? Sex doesn't change anything, sweetie. You're either bi or you're not.

Be yourself, if you want to try something with a guy, you can. Go with your gut feeling and what makes you comfortable.

one thing about bisexual. come to think of it, do bisexuals can be claimed as 'greedy'?? i mean, you both want men and women. but certainly, you can be with both. put yourself as the straight person, do you want to share your boyfriend with another guy? hell no, right?
