honestly, i feel bad for hurting another person, but he deserved it. No, I'm not a man hater who thinks all men need a whack no matter what-we found out that he had been molesting a co-workers kid (she was 7) and I hit him in the head with a pole, that's how the police found him. He didn't die, but he won't forget my face.

Sure I have. I've never punched anyone, but I've certainly hit. This is a common state of affairs when you grow up with a sibling. I am sorry to say that even though I love my brother, I do not feel guilty about it, since a) he started it (I know, so mature), and b) he gave as good as he got. I have hit a few other people, and I don't feel guilty for that either, because even though my reasons weren't all that great, it was back in elementary school, and I'm pretty sure feeling guilty about something minor that happened that many years ago would be unhealthy. I haven't hit anyone in years, since I have quite good control of my temper and have not had any reason to do so. If I had to defend myself, however, I think I could be quite vicious without feeling bad about it. I'm a firm believer in hurting the other guy badly enough so they don't chase you when you run away. Hurting them a little just makes them angry. As an aside, my lack of guilt does not mean I see nothing wrong with hitting people. If you take the word "repent" to mean "feel guilty about", then no, I don't. If you take it to mean "realize it was not the best course of action and try to do better", then yes.

yes I have hit somebody physically. I can't bear the emotional pain any longer. from time to time, most of us tried to keep the rage, displeasure, and sadness inside., but now and then, it just slips out. The emotional feeling becomes too overwhelming for simple humans to bear. From the start of any creature, strict brute and physical contacts are the only defenses against rivals, but as us humans evolves, this control over our more primitive actions only gain stronger, but that doesn't mean it's gone, so when it's too much for us to control, it gets out in ways we would avoid with reason and sanity. And yes I do repent ever hurting anyone out of sheer anger, frustration, or depression.

When I was about 6 I tried to hit a kid. Somehow I ended up hitting myself in the face and had a black eye. I can't figure out to this day how it happened. That was the last time I tried.

This isn't a joke post, I just wish it were.

yeah, who doesnt. school fight. but then, repented? yes of course. but now the question is that, if you're to choose to hurt someone physically or mentally, which one would you do? (set aside the thinking of better not hurting anybody).

I was in a play with a man with whom I had a love/hate relationship. We would date for awhile - and then break up. And we were FOREVER being cast in plays together.

One summer we were doing a show - and a part of the play required my character to slap his character. We tried to stage the slap - but then it was decided that it worked best for me to just slap him. I never did it very hard.

One night the director asked us to rehearse on our own - and after arriving at the theatre - my "fellow actor" informed me that he didn't want to rehearse - and he wasn't going to - because he had a date. We argued - and I ended up slapping him.

I felt AWFUL about it - and apologized right away - but he was really upset with me.

That was over 20 years ago. We're still very good friends.

In self defense after being restrained by his go-along. I broke free and gave them a couple pounds before they let me be.

I feel fine about. They left me alone after that.

I consider it having earned them a lesson they needed.
