I don't handle the gray overcast days of Ca. I'm wondering if Austin "s over cast is different. Are there a lot of these type of days? Gray days make me feel very low.
Thank you

Austin has very few overcast days. Sometimes it's a little hazy in the morning, during the summer, but that usually burns off. I would probably compare Austin to San Diego when it comes to sunshine. (Although Austin does get a hotter in the summer and sometimes has some cooler weather in the winter.) Also, the days are longer here than in Northern California.

The rainy season is in the spring, and so cloudy days are not uncommon from January through May. But, even then, they are fairly rare. And, the rest of the time the weather in Austin is clear, sunny skies.

If you can take the heat, 100 degree highs for 3-4 months of the summer, then weather is not an issue here.
