Here are some ways to help improve your turns:
~your head--spot quickly and precisely, keeping the same spot with each rotation, don't let your spot "drift".
~your upper body--keep you stomach muscles tight and firm, keep you rib cage in line, squeeze your buttocks, keep a good firm tension in all of it.
~your arms--make sure your arms are in correct preparation and execution positions. Keep your movements strong, but do not whip them around, this will pull your upper body out of place. Your arms should pull inward to a first position as you make your rotation. Keep the shoulders pressing down, don't lift them.
~your legs--make sure you are centered in the plie' that is your preparation. Push off the floor and keep your supporting leg straight (unless your doing a jazz turn and your teacher asks for it in plie') and keep your foot in releve'--don't turn on your heel-- The working leg should pull up to the passe quickly and tightly, holding a firm passe during the entire turn, remember to keep pressing your turn out but don't allow the hip to pop up (unless you are doing a jazz turn-keep the leg turned in but watch the hip so you don't lift it)
These tips should help no matter how many rotations you are doing.

Well jazz and ballet pirouettes are different but I can give you the same advice. Make sure before you "take off" you are secure and have your weight on your front foot. Once your up make sure your stomach is tight and try to make your opposite side go around first (ie. if you are turning to the right have the back of your left hip and leg make the force and go first.) Trust me on this one.

easy... you need to practice 1/2 turns and make sure your placement is correct. spotting is important and DO NOT wind up for a turn using your arms! its the foot that will go into retire' that pushes you up over yourself and turns you. 1/2 a turn is good practice and also pratice placing your heel down first to stop... no hopping just gently put your heel down then place the other leg down. you just need to practice controling you body thats all... practice at the bar but without is best and practice just bringing the leg to retire' and releve' to get the feel of being aligned.ps:(retire' = leg being placed under or to the side of standing legs knee... passe' = means to pass the leg from one possition to the other)
dont forget that turns are done in every position... try them all. even second.
good luck.
If I can do a double on point and come out of it do and arabesque into a ponche' without putting my heal down YOU can do it too!

-Stong Spot
-WEIGHT forward when you prep
-Suck in and keep all your muscles tight but relax your shoulders
-also make sure you alway are thinking of your oppostional pulls imagine your supporting foot as a tree and the roots are pullign the ball of your foot into the ground and your head is a hellium baloon floating upward
