I see you have been punished by the Gods of Speed for the destruction of a Trans Am. Take your years of driving that P.O.S. like a man and save up for a real car again.

How much money do you want to throw into it? Add a K & N Air Filter system, Borla Cat-Back Exaust system, Hypertech Power Programmer. These 3 simple modifications, for around $1000 total cost, will add over 50 horsepower to your Camry, and easily 30 - 40 mph higher top speed. If you don't want to put that much money into it look into getting a performance computer chip. The speed and performance of computer controlled engines is held back severly by the stock computer chip. A performance chip or power programmer allows you to raise the factory set rpm limiter, which will give you better bottom end power, and the top speed limiter. This modification alone will give you a more powerful feel and way higher top speed. I put one on a 94 Buick Roadmaster, which had a top speed of just over 100mph and turned it into a 145mph ride.

Sorry about your Trans Am. I am a TA lover and I know how that sucks.

Anyways, change your air filter to a K & N, thats the cheapest, and fastest way, and youll even get some better mpg with it. They are about $50. I have one in all 3 of my cars, including my 78 trans am. It makes them accelerate faster and run at lower rpms. Like my Grand Am used to run at 2000 rpm at 70 mph, now I can go 75 mph on the same rpms.

A clean air filter does wonders!!! You might be able to find an upgrade chip for on-board diagnostics to tweak the fuel flow and horsepower... remember any mods you do will also affect your wallet at the pump.

Some vehicles might not have enough low end torque which many people confuse with horsepower... what is the displacement on the engine... #cylinders?

Oh and I drive a custom 600H Turbo diesel tractor trailer at work... plenty of torque... loads of horsies... I can't believe I get paid to drive this thing!!! :-P

well everybody knows that rims and a body kit will gain you like 60 horses...j/k anyways you may want to try a K and N air filter or intake kit, that will increase airflow in the engine allowing it to go a little faster..or buy a supercharger to automatically push forced air into the engine with the push of a button.

Bolt on horsepower. Update intake air filter, increase the size of the throttle body intake valve, install larger valve train, larger fuel injectors, tuned headers and cat back exhaust. You just increased it 150hp and that don't include a nitrous bottle in the trunk.

clean your air filter and switch to a higher octane gas would be fastest and cheapest quick fix but wont be that noticable.
