LONDON — The newest fashion among schoolgirls is getting knocked up, according to one pregnant 14-year-old whose four friends are also expecting.
British teen Kizzy Neal says she's been approached for advice from other pregnant girls her age ever since she conceived, reported London's Daily Mail.
"When my friends see my bump they say they wish they could have a baby, then three weeks later they're pregnant and don't know what to do," Neal said.
"It seems to be fashionable to get pregnant. ... Teenage girls think babies are cute, but they forget the physical side of being pregnant, then having to give up your own childhood to look after a baby," she told the paper.
Neal says she got pregnant the first time she had sex with her 13-year-old boyfriend.

This is the most idiotic trend I have ever heard of.
"Babies are cute". They are f****** babies. I don't mean to be offensive or rude, this is just very frightening.
I would love to see the parent's reaction.
I've been to London and would have never expected it from there. I suppose of they want to have sex, they can, but TRYING to have a baby at age 14 is ridiculous. The baby would be 10 by the time the mother and father would probably still be in college (assuming they are going).
I have seen parents of teenagers have more babies. This means that one day, that idiot 14-year-old is going to walk around and people will think her child is her sibling!
Unbelievable. It seems that people, especially children, will believe anything. Simply incredible.

That is the craziest thing I have every heard! I mean i understand like maybe it being fashionable to have sex before marriage, but to acctually get pregnant is a little bit over the top. I feel very bad for these young girls who thinks that this is the "cool" thing to do. Hopefully they will see the wrong in what they are doing. What I am surprise with is that the parents are not taking a stand against what their daughters are doing.

What are these young girls thinking?! I know they aren't thinking!! It's hard enough to be an adult and have a baby. I was 22 when I had my first child, and I was scared to death! I couldn't imagine being 14 and pregnant!Whatever happened to shoes and purses being a fashion trend?!! And where the hell are the parents??

For the girls from the generation I grew up with. the reason was believing the mans commitment of love and not knowing the cost as in teen mother. this was a painful infliction upon the home, making young grandparents did not go over very well.

Getting pregnant isn't fashionable, having sex is. She's just trying to make excuses for behavior that many people might find unacceptable.
Besides, girls should have enough common sense to know that getting pregnant/fat is a huge turnoff for teenage boys, and isn't that the idea behind looking fashionable anyway?
