have you been getting enough sleep? That can cause red eyes, but so can a lot of other things. If you don't find exactly what you are looking for you can check out webmd.com they have a symptom checker and you click on the body part with the problem in your case the eyes and then choose the symptoms and it comes back with everything that can be a symptom of and tells you what you can do to help treat it or if you need to see a doctor.

Most contacts don't allow oxygen to get to the eye properly. This causes the blood vessels to swell and give you the streaks you described. However, that usually passes shortly after the lens are removed (by the next day).

You may have a form of conjunctivitis (eye infection). More than likely the eye was weak from wearing the lens too much and got exposed to something that caused an infection.

See you doctor if it doesn't keep getting better. Most of the time they can give you some medicated drops to clear up the infection and you should still be able to wear the contact lens during the day.

GOOD LUCK

It happened due to inflammation of the eye. You can use saline solution or an eye lubricant.
