I think such living should be lonely and challenging, please find a Penguin paperback to read, it's the story told day by day of a heroic British woman who circumnavigated alone in a ship round the world last year (No, I'm sorry, she made it on the night of 7th February 2005). I'm sorry I don't have the book by me but I'd tell you later.

OK, I have got the book right now, Ms. Ellen MacArthur is the formidable heroine and the book entitled, "Race Against Time" (Penguin Books 2006). Try to find one and read it since it's been recorded day by day without any rewriting or improving, thus, it informs the readers as a matter of fact from Day 1 to Day 71.

I would think it was quite exhausting and difficult. However, sailors today are helped much more now with mechanical help and many of them enjoy the life at sea.
