what is the difference betweena heterozygous phenotype produced by incomplete dominance and a heterozygous phenotype produced by codominance?

For incomplete dominance, a heterozygote would display a mix of the dominant and recessive phenotype; red and white to make pink as the above poster mentioned.

For codominance, the heterzygote expresses both phenotypes at the same time. The typical example is the ABO blood type system where A and B share dominance over recessive O.

To keep it in terms of flowers; if red and white where codominant a possible outcome could be a flower with both red and white petals.. or perhaps red and white striped petals.

here'e an example using red and white flowers: complete dominance in a heterozygous plant will make it red. incomplete dominance will make the heterozygous plant pink.
