No not really, I would have thought that my definition married implied living together and sharing everything. If they are apart they might be happy being friends but that's not really a marriage is it.

If a couple isn't living together, then they are happily separated. Saying they are happily married is a contradiction to the concept of marriage unless you are speaking of a couple where one spouse may be falsely incarcerated. And I don't see where that could be considered happy either unless the spouse is in jail for domestic assault and battery!!!!

I know a couple that has been married for 10 years BECAUSE they haven't been living together.

yes i have my parent. they been together for over 60 years.
