I'm looking for a good word to word my statement just right...
What would be a word to define what my ex boyfriend has done & is doing to me:
he is always saying how he's the best and that i'll never find someone as good as him and he says things like your new guy won't ever compare to me.
What's a good word to sum all of that up? What word best defines what he's doing?
I can't come up with anything...

This is actually happening to me, what my ex is doing to me and is considered Criminal Harassment and I'm filing another report against him tomorrow morning and I'm doing a rough draft on my statement that I have to make against him again.

He is 21 years old by the way and yes I think it's in my best interest that I have gone the police because all of you don't know the whole story behind mine and his relationship. If you knew, you would go to the police too!!!!

"The constant harrassment and barrage of verbal abuse directed by this egotistical maniac of an ex-boyfriend of mine has got me terrified and in constant fear for my life. I can't endure this violation of my privacy and basic human rights to have my own quiet peace of mind.
When is this torment going to end, when are you, The Law, going to step in and help me??? I need closure on this as soon as possible so as I can resume a normal peaceful existance.
Thank You for your attention.

He is being YOUNG. He can not help that too much. It is part of developing and growing. He has issues but who doesn't and especialy at that age. But what is important is that he is your EX and it should not matter too much what he says. But try this. Here are some replies for his answers.
-"I'm the best." REPLY That's right you can be the best, but you will still be my EX.
-"You will never find someone as good as me." REPLY Are you trying to convince me or yourself..PLUS who knows I just might have alot alot of fun trying to find someone as good as you.
-"Your new guy will never compare to me." REPLY I wont be thinking about you let alone take the time to compare you.
AND this one reply fits them all. "Yeah you were ok but I am looking for better." Anyway good luck follow what is good for you.

true he is narcissistic but that is only one aspect of his serious personality disorder we call borderline personality disorder. it cannot be cured. the cling due to intense abandonment fears. won't get into the narcissist thing. bad childhood. screwed up. yet, can be successful and very intelligent but hopeless as a mate. keep your distance. no long term deal there. he can never trust or really bond. sad but you cannot fix him a shrink cannot fix him. talk therapy buys a little time but they drop that. shrinks an therapists don't want them unless they are desperate for business. lol and run like hell. oh, you want one word? sick. throw in the word "bipolar" in your letter and complaint. and do look it up on wiki.

Oh, there are lots. Here are two. Crazymaking--meaning, he's making you doubt your own thoughts and feelings to the point where you think you might be insane. Minimalizing--meaning, he's eroding your self-esteem so that you believe him and do what he says.
If this is actually happening to you, sweetheart, please know that it isn't about you at all. It's about him needing to take you down a notch so he feels competent and better about himself. You know that some idiot said the same thing to Oprah when she was in her 20s, right? And she believed him--for about a week, until she woke up.

If you think what he says is right then the word is "Most eligible bachelor". However, if you think he is lying then he is simply "Boasting" and he is "overconfident".
But dearie I would like to tell you something. If you are good you need not tell anyone. Because your deeds decide. If I say I am good and people don't think so then I am cheating myself. I hope you got my message.
Cheers!!

He is verbally abusing you to make himself feel cool.
He is being lame.
I've learned that with boys who are being jerks, the best reaction is no reaction. It seems crazy, but if they are acting like that they just want attention from you, it doens't matter if its good or bad. If you simply turn away from that kind of behavior and leave them with nothing, no reaction, no tears, no nothing, they learn that awful behavior only gets them ignored. It works, I swear.
