The discovery of the tomb of the child-king was one of the most important dicovery in Egypt for one major reason. What is the reason?

It was a treasure trove of numerous items from the time of King Tut. No tomb in recent memory contained so MANY artificats in such pristine condition as did the 1920s discovery of Tut's tomb. In addition it had NEVEr been raided which so commonly was done with other tombs. Often the artifacts had been picked over quite a bit by the time archealogists got to them.
