Some of the albums were copy protected, I know, but how do I get them to work again?

You may not be able to...if you transferred to a newer computer, especially if it is newer music, there are firewalls to prevent it from being transferred if you do not have a license to do so because of anti-piracy laws.

If you have purchased your music from a website, like SonyConnect, Wal-Mart, or I-Tunes, if you try to download and they still do not, contact their customer service and they can assist with problems.

If you have transferred from a CD, you may be out of luck...most new CD's specifically state that you cannot copy for any reason w/out expressed permission...which mean you can't even upload/download you purchased CD's like you used to even as a back-up copy.
