We have an agreement. For every (2) 'guy' movies I rent , I have to rent at least (1) chick flick. I'm pretty open minded, but I would rather watch a romantic comedy rather than a tear jerker. HELP! I'd rather watch my grass grow, but I'm just to darn respectful of her feelings (and cause it's dark outside). HELP!

I am a woman but I hate chick flicks, they bore me! So I am not good at picking one, why not just say honey what movie can I go rent for us to watch this evening? You cannot go wrong then, she will have chosen it, and you will seem soooo considerate! Oh how come U get 2 movies to her 1??? See count your blessings!

I actually find a lot tear jerkers much more tolerable than romantic comedies. Tear jerkers tend to have at least a semblence of a plot, after all. Romantic comedies are all the same.
You could try historical romances. Most of them at least involve war or an exciting death. Pearl Habor was pretty decent, in my opinion. And there are a bunch of more obscure ones.

it is not that big of a deal , i am sure that she has seen movies that you wanted to watch and she did not want to , if you cant sit down with your girlfriend for 2 hours and watch a movie with her she should find someone else. NO WONDER MEN ARE ALWAYS SINGLE

welllll, if you really want to nip this in the bud.... get one or two really bad movies.... and act dumb, like you don't know any better, ( it always works if you can pull off the naive dumb part...)
for a movie i suggest 'debbie does dallas'.... tell her you thought it was about shopping or a chick's and her girl friends night out... if you are real dumb, and then real shocked... you won't have to ever watch or pick out a tear jerker again!!!... hello, poker night!

my question is why do you get to watch 2 movies to her 1? How fair is that? Grow up and let her have her fair share. Be grateful that she does not say one for one.

Start drinking & pass out durring the movie.... Then you do not have to deal with the movie
