I would definately be a vampire for several reasons.
1 Vampires live forever. Wearwolves in most stories live only to the end of their natural lifespan before death, assuming someone doesn't kill the raging beasty first.
2 Vampires retain control of themseves and of others. They can still explore most of the goals that they wanted to from life, and they do it stronger, faster, smarter, and with better physical senses.
3 In this day and age who needs the sun? Everything you want happens at night as well in larger cities.
4 you don't have to kill your victim or infect them with your curse, you can do your feeding and leave your victim realitively unharmed if you want to. Where as a wearwolf is too crazy to leave most of their Victims alive, and the ones he does, become wearwolves, hence compition.
5 Vampires are the perfect predators
6 Vampires make great succubi/incubi in thier own dark way, and are naturally attractive to their prey
7Fangs are fun, but retractable so you can pretend to be completly normal.
8 Vampires have lots more abilities then wearwolves based on most lore, and also there are several pieces of lore in which Vampires control Wearwolves and enslave them (( I'm not talking novels here but actual lore that when it was written down pre printing press documented this happening. ))
9 Vampires can create ghoul servants (( Rienfield in Dracula)) Humans that are completely subserviant, yet still human by making the human drink a little of their blood. but this process won't cause a complete change.

In a way it's a hard choice because it's a general question with no restrictions/types. There are many vampires and werewolf stories out there and each has it's own set of rules that the creatures abide by. In some stories vapires can live in the sun, in some stories warewolfs change only on full moons, and in some more frequently (just as with some a scrach or bite from a werewolf can make the victem turn into a werewolf, while some don't)

So I'd say a vampire (that's a half vampire) they seem to obtain the best of both worlds and can live in the sunlight but have all the abilities of full vampires. ;)

I'd have to say vampire. You get to live forever and gain superhuman strength, agility and senses. The only downside is having to stay out of sunlight or I'll turn to ashes, imagine being almost invincible but having to desperately run away and hide when the sun rises. But I could get a car with tinted windows so that problem won't be so bad. However you get to do what you want and no one can stop you.

Vampire!!! No doubt. There are many different types of vampires and wherwolves, depending on your source of info. I love the vampires from the books "Twilight" and "New Moon" by Stephenie Meyer. They're rockin' awesome!!!

A VAMPIRE! as a vampire i have superhuman abilitys and can make myself legions of minions!! as a werewolf i...lose control of myself. onlyty have power at full moon and uder ppl for no reson. Also if i was a werewolf i could be mistaken for MJ in his thriller video.

Werewolf. Because you'd only turn into a werewolf during a full moon. Then all you'd have to do is have yourself locked up for a night or two each month and you wouldn't have to worry about hurting anyone.
