i know i know to each their own opinion or beleif. i personaly can relate to his lyrics int he fact that when i listen i see this immense personal struggle. a lost boy slowly growing up realizing the reality of things hes done and the world around him. alot of his songs are questionable but i think if you really look beyond the shock theres realness behind it.

I think he's just been labeled by the world as a bad artist. I love his music and i laugh every time i hear someone say he is evil.

I think he is really cool !!! He one of my top favorite music artists !!! And I agree with you,the lyrics to his songs are very real. I have listened to his music and have read a lot about him,and so far I have agreed with about everything he has had to say.Marilyn Manson is a very smart,talented music artist and I think it's a shame that so many people think that he is evil.

Oh I think you're 100% right. There is realness there.....his whole image is for shock value only! To get people to stop, look and listen...If someone can relate to the lyrics of a song....or the melody of a song.....whatever touches them about a song, and then they develop a like of the artist/band......then that is all that matters.
I was thinking about it today.....I'm a 37 year old single mom of three.....when I was 11 (the age of my youngest) I was listening to Motley Crue, KISS, AC/DC, etc....my mother was like WTF????
Today, my youngest is listening to Ashley Tisdale, Hannah Montana, the Cheetah Girls, etc.....
What a difference 25+ years makes eh? LOL
Now *I'm* the one going WTF? Child...turn on some Ozzy and JAM!!!!!!!!!!!

I think he's a good artist, he has good taste in women, I like how he likes to cause controversy
I can't wait for that Lily Cole/ Alice in Wonderland horror movie to come out. That is so many things I like rolled into one. That thing is going to be awesome.
