with Anna Nicole, they said it could take months. Why the big difference? Is there a big back-up on DNA's , so hers has to wait for its turn? ( I didn't know what category to put this in.)

The labs that are contracted by the state are always backed up with old case files waiting for results.

OK....DO NOT BELIEVE CSI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!....THE SHOW IS CRAPPY ON THE SCIENCE SIDE BUT GUD ON THE ENTERTAINMENT HOLLYWOOD SIDE. contrary to what they show on tv...DNA results does take months...it has to do with the process and yes there are backlogs...it's a complicated process that involves removing the DNA from the cell, replicating (making copies of it) and then interpreting the data.
