Alright.
So I have no tempt.
I did, however, tell my mom I had a sore throat and she looked and it was wicked swollen. So I jokingly said, "Rawr, I'll cough on you," to my dog and she covered her mouth and all. But I've also missed alot of school and am failing. Do you think she'll let me stay home?

Even though you're failing (that's a separate lecture.) it would be more responsible to stay home if your throat is swollen. It's likely to be contagious, and you don't want to spread it to the whole school.

As soon as it gets better, get your butt back in the desk and hit the books. You do not want to flunk out of school.

She should let you stay home to get better and go to the school to pick up any schoolwork you have missed and make you do it in bed.You have the time if you're sick, try for an extra credit project at home.

yes i think she will let you stay. ok, well if it is really swollen and you have other symptoms i suggest staying home. but if you are feeling fine just a little swelling then you should maybe go to school you can't spare a day if you're failing!
