Why are white males so much more racist than white women?

Women themselves have been oppressed and discriminated against because of their gender. These feelings can mirror the experiences of racism to a certain extent and females can probably feel more empathy towards another who is kept disenfranchised simply because of what they are.

Some white males treat their wives and daughters and employees like they're a piece of trash too. So some white women know from experience or observation just how nasty some white males can be...makes some of the women want to be as different from the males as they can get.

They're just more open about it some of the time. In my experience black males are "so much more racist" than white males, too. Black women are probably worse in general (my experience). White women, as I noted, just put up a front because they're used to putting up fronts to get what they want; why should pretending to be caring/tolerant be any different?

NO anybody, any race or sex can be racist. And there are racist white women, ive met white women that have this crazy idea that they are more beautiful than other races.

I would guess that white women are less racist because we can identify with the way society oppresses African Americans. Women and African Americans alike have to work harder for what white males acquire easily. Respect in social settings, promotions, and equal pay in the workplace are all things that both groups struggle to attain because of discrimination. Interracial marriage is another issue that affects white women and African Americans. People like Alexandra say that interracial marriage is wrong. However, nowhere in the Bible does it say this. That's just something that her white male preacher told her. Mine did, too, when I was growing up. Most Christians fail to study and follow Christ's tolerance. Instead, they mindlessly follow the biased opinions their preachers feed them.

Women and men are treated differently in society. As a man you might be aware of this;
observe how white women are treated by another race. Now observe how white men are treated.

Same for how black women are treated compared to black men by other races. Plus remember that the media (yup) and others PIT white men vs black men against each other (so we don't cooperate/unify against the powers that be.)

It's very subtle...but I'll guess most govts? exploit differences. Remember when two fight, the third (hidden power) wins.

I don't think they are. I think they are just more likely to mouth off about what they think, and use crude and offensive language when they do it, as they are in just about every other area (compared to women). I think there are just as many white female racists, but they keep their comments to themselves or small circles of friends.

I think blacks are more racist than whites. Why do black people get away with calling whites "crackers" and calling each other "n***er"? I don't care if someone calls me a cracker--I'm just pointing out that double standard!

I'm racist in that I don't believe in mixed marriages--that racism is okay. If black is beautiful, why do you want to mix it with white?

However--I do not think one race is superior to the other, and attacking someone based solely on their race is wrong, whether it's black on white, white on Oriental, etc.

I can only surmise that you have reached this conclusion based on your own personal experience. Your perception that overall, white males tend to be more racist than white females may be accurate. You will notice that this same subclass of white males correspondingly tend to be more be sexist and homophobic. White males, like spoiled children, hold the balance of power and are at loathe to give it up. Not all white males, of course: I am referring specifically to the cranks - and there are alot of those around here!
