Any carniverous animal (fowl or four legged) that finds a lion dead. Other than that, the lion doesn't have a specific "predator" that stalks him down. There are too many other creatures that aren't as ferocious and won't fight back nearly as hard.

Scavengers, such as the hyena will eat the carcass of a lion after it is dead, however the lion has no predators when alive,except perhaps, humans.

vultures and hyenas ,but only when they are dead ,
and they can be killed by other lions ,some times the cubs are killed by Hyenas ,or even their hungry and lazy fathers,
or an mad elephant can kill a lion ,but he does not eat it

i saw a show on animal planet where Hyenas killed and ate a lioness that was alone. i know hyenas will also kill lion cubs, as will leopards and vultures if the cubs are unattended.

I lived in Africa as a girl. I don't think any creature eats lions.
Men kill lions.
Elephants can really squash them -truly, badly.
Bison (male) and animals with tusks can inflict enough damage for the lion /lioness to die.

scavingers do eat it after a lion has died, animals will pick at its carcus but they don't have any natural pretiters.

Hyenas will kill any lion that they can outnumber and attack. Once dead, any scavanger will eat them.
