an average person would call me a *rocker, but i love makeup and haircare products. people call me a girly rocker and find it wierd that i love these sort of products
i love haircare stuff is cause i dye my hair ALOT, i retouch it burgundy at least every 4 1/2 weeks, and i simply love eye makeup. i dont wear foundaton or blush.
should this offend me in anyway?

Nope, your unique. You have your own style, know what you like and use it to your advantage. I don't think it's meant to offend, just to label (which people like to do anyway). Don't worry about it and don't ever change for someone else!!!

To me, it would simply mean that you love rock music and going out, but I'm 32, so maybe there's a new meaning to that word I don't know.
Anyway, the truth is that most people are more complicated than a simple label allows. I look very conservative, with long, natural hair and bright skirts and sweaters, and I always say things that shock people without even trying. And I feel a bit rebellious, because most everyone wears black in NYC, where I live! People like what they like and make their own mix, and it sounds like you're mature enough to look the way you like.
Simply stated, if you like what you see in the mirror, other people will, too. And the ones who don't...well, you don't want them around anyhow.

You have to realize that how you look is the book cover that people judge you by. If you are going for a corporate job, you would want to look more conservative. However if you are in HS or College, live a little more free. Experience life while you can. As you can see in my image, I did, and I was happy for it. Growing my 80's hair band wannabe mug was a blast, but is not something I'd readily do now.

You should know that anytime you stray from the societal "norm" you will be judged.
I wouldn't get offended though because you are who you are...as long as you're smiling and not committing crimes you're good in my books.
Labels are part of American culture unfortunately.

No, people are going to give you useless labels your whole life. Get used to it. It's not even worth acknowledging. By the way, if you don't want to be labeled, then I suggest you not label others.
