Using Feline Pine is fine for your bunny. Also, there are products such as Yesterday's News, and Carefresh bedding. All of these are acceptable.
Bunnies are susceptible to many respiratory diseases, so no, clay and clumping litters are bad! If bunny has a chewing thing, make sure to give him chew blocks or toys to keep him occupied. Good luck!

Feline pine is just fine. It will absorb his pee and you can scoop out his poops. There's nothing in it that would hurt him, they even suggest on the bag that you can use it for mulch in your garden after kitty does its thing. This is definitely better than clay or scoop litter which would have all kinds of chemicals in it. They do make rabbit substrate for cages but Feline Pine is basically the same thing, and much easier to get.

I use Feline Pine for my rabbits and I love it, it;s the best one I've found. It should be safe for them, as it has been treated to remove the harmful oils found in wood shaving litters (pine and cedar).

I used just regular shredded pine chips you can buy at wal mart or pet stores. Never had a problem with my bunnies.
