so if you were 3 cm when did your water break or when did you go into labor....can it be anyday now?

I was a two for at least a week or so. I had a friend who was at a 3 for 3 weeks. My water didn't break until I was at 7 cm, and it was on it's own. I wouldn't let the doc do it because I had a drug-free birth and sac cusions the contractions.
If your water breaks, go to the hospital right away. Otherwise, just sit tight until your contractions are regularly 5 mins apart. That could start tonight, or not until your due date.

well i was in the hopsital at 33-34 weeks with my daughter, and i started having contractions every 5 minuets for a few hours, they checked me and i was 3-3 1/2cm dialated. well i didnt have her then. at 37+2 weeks the dr pulled her out via c section.

hang in there it could be a while im 38 weeks pregnant and i have been dilated to 3 centimeters for almost 2 weeks now.... and its miserable the pressure and bak pain and stretching is awefull.....with my first child i was 2 centimeters dilated for two weeks then my water broke and i was still only 2 centimeters dilated they ended up haivng to induce my labor..... but yeahit could be any day now... good luck

if you are dialating , go to the hospital!!!!!!! Especially if your water broke, the baby is no longer in his/her amniotic sack. HOSPITAL! ur due anytime!
