It's human nature for one to attack anything or anyone they do not understand. if people would talk, converse, and do so with objective communication and not with anything that doesn't add any value to the issue, ie.... lies, one- sided opinions, etc.... if people were more open minded, they would see that gay people, or different people in general, are really just the same. Hell sweetie, being so unique and diverse gives us all something in common. Don't discourage. Eventually, people will wake up. Thank you for the question. Very thought provoking.

I'm straight but I've been supportive of the gay community for a long time. I have several gay friends going back many years. There are alot of straight people who are not homophobic and don't have a problem with gay people. The thing is we don't hear from them. It's the anti-gay people who scream the loudest. This gives the illusion that most heterosexuals are homophobic.

You know what? I have met some Gay people who was funny, nice, and very likable people. But I can tell you that it makes many feel uncomfortable. Yet I find that most who are Gay are perfectly capable of standing up for themselves.

I used to think like that, but has a woman ever flirted with u in a mall and u don't even know her? or yell out and say u are hot? because if u have then u may change your mind. Plus i hate the way they express themselves.

People knock what they don't understand. Or they are fearful because of being ignorant. It's not everyones job to understand everything, but everyone should have an open mind.

Unfortunately, it's just ignorance. You'd think that being in the year 2007, we would have overcome so much...how sad that we haven't.

because there is no clear reason why people are gay. Imagine a FACTUAL study that PROVES why this is............ then we might start to understand more and not make it such a big deal. I don't judge gay people, I just don't agree.... but then i would NEVER preach to them about it. I see it as we are all different and we should love and care for everyone around us.
