I like them both and it's terribly difficult to choose. You should buy both pair...one can never have too many jeans. I really like the diesel because I like darker colored jeans, but I believe that lighter jeans are in style with spring and summer coming up.

Honestly?I'm not crazy about either pair.$70,$80 for a pair of jeans.
Take your money and time and go to the Goodwill and find yourself seven or eight pairs of jeans.

I like darker wash color jeans on me. So, personally I like the second one better. But both are pretty cute!

second pair, the washed out look can do weird things to your figure. Your butt and hips may look bigger and legs smaller with the two toned look. One color would be more pleasing to the eye.

The second ones ar WAY couter!! and dark jeans are more slimming!!
