How do you get rid of soap irritation on your vulva?

I used soap to clean my vulva (outer part of your vagina where the labia and clit are). this was my first time using soap because i normally use more gentle non soap cleaners. and now i have this very bad irritation. If anyone that has real experience can share what happened to them and how long it took for the irritation to go away will be appreciated!

You could try an ice pack or sitting on a bag of frozen peas and if after a few days that still doesn't help pls check with your dr.
