Normal DVD.
Most games use a single Layer DVD with about 4.7 GB of space. Aome games use dual Layer DVDs with about 8.5 GB of space.

HD DVD is only used with the additional HD DVD drive to watch HD Movies. No games are on HD DVDs.

It's DVD-9.

DVD format with a size capacity of a little under 9 gb.
