I have a ton of these googly eyes. I hope someone has an idea of what I can make with them. I would like to have it tied in with child abuse awareness and prevention. Any ideas would be helpfull. Thanks.

Make a poster of a child sitting on a bed, looking sad or "abused"
Put a bunch of eyes in a dark closet, outside in the windows, etc..
Then caption "It's not alwas as obvious as you might think it would be", suggesting that abuse (both physical and emotional) cases arent always self evident.

Maybe something the child could wear, or just have, which would remind them to "keep their eyes open" for things that happen to them that don't seem right. (Might also be something to make it easier for a child to approach a teacher or someone too, if they ever felt the need.)
(I also once made a sweatshirt for my neice to help her learn shapes ... I glued googly eyes onto the shirt with acrylic paint, inside of "faces" shapes made as squares, triangles, circles, etc.--with painted on smiley mouths, or bit of hair, etc.... she loved it, and it washed fine. You could perhaps made a "button" or some other little thing by gluing fabric of some kind to something stiff like a piece of cardboard, or just to a shape of felt, then do the same sort of thing with the googly eyes in a face... could glue a pinback on the back or even a safety pin).

Put all you eyes together on a poster and then put the caption everyone is watching a child that is being abused.
