If you ask me, generally speaking of course, heterosexual males go craziest their sexuality preference and show how much they like the opposite sex, often to obnoxious degrees. Heterosexual females don't go as crazy over men. They aren't as obsessed with males as the heterosexual male is with them. Heterosexual relationships even show the man constantly wanting to have sex and the woman able to hold off. Then you've got two lesbians. They seem to be the most controlled. They are probably act the least craziest about the opposite sex, due to them both being females. Lesbians show their lust for woman even less than str8 female, probably do to the str8 male's behavior rubbing off on the female. You rarely hear lesbian women going on and on about the same sex (with the exception of Rosie O'Donnell of course). I'd say Gay males might come behind a heterosexual men. When I watched "Queer As Folk", gay males were wild about the same sex as well. But no one is nearly as crazy as str8 males.

Your making a lot of generalizations.

I think that it's a cultural myth that doesn't allow women to enjoy or seek out sex (women as the sexual gatekeeper role). Your argument doesn't allow for women to feel passion or lust for sex be it with men or with other women.

Furthermore, this idea makes men seem like a hydrolic pressure penis attached to a body, i.e. that when we experience a certain level of arrousal we CAN'T help but need/crave/go crazy over sex.

Bottom line is that it's culturally derived and not biological in my view. In some other cultures you don't have this sort of women as frigid gatekeepers and men as the lions at the gate (no offence meant to either sex, it's just the stereotype in my view =/).

Lots of guys fear being weak, they fear being (no offence) like women. Gay guys hag out with girls, wear tight cloths, and like guys, so bassically they are women. Men have to show their manliness by obviously proving to their dude friends that they are not gay... so... they flaunt their women and use them not as a real girlfriend, but as a trophy of being a REAL man...

Another reason is that some guys are on the edge of being gay, they arnt sure; but they know that if they spill their secret, non of the other guys will accept them. THese guys prove their straightness by down casting all gay people with anti gay sayings and anti gay actions...

I personally am strait, i dont hate gay people; it just makes me angry when they act all gay and say really steriotipical gay stuff, like 'OMG, l met this gut last night, like... OOO" That pisses me off. Just because you like guys doesnt mean you need to be all weird, thats it...
