like finding and deleting the file on my computer that identifies me to the site?

They usually block your username or IP address. Without a new name, you can't post. But you can route your internet through a proxy server to mask your IP address.

Pretty much impossible...most forums use your IP address (which is specific to your internet connector/connection) so you are probably out of luck unless you get another name and a new computer or network driver.

First CLEAN your cookies and cache..... Next try a new ID ... if that does not go thru then your IP address is blocked...
SO
Call your internet service provider THEN ask them to change your IP address. They can change it right in the office.

same as may. but if you are permanently banned, they might block your ip address, the address your computer uses to connect to the internet. if you ip is blocked from the forums, then you can't necessarily change your ip address.

its not the computer that is banned but the screen name i believe.. try making a new one
