I sincerely believe that race questions are necessary to define who people are and how those people choose to portray themselves. Discussing differences can be interesting without being destructive or demeaning. People who listen and use their brains vs emotions to react can learn much from those unlike themselves. I'm in my 40's so I still consider myself kinda young. I have dealt with discrim. on both sides. Raised with bigoted father but attended very liberal state college.

I don't mind racial questions. I just don't like the hateful way some people pose their questions. It's wrong to ask questions in ways that are vulgar, insulting and just plain rude to others. My age is 40!

The ones that are asked with a genuine sense of trying to gain understanding, those I dig a lot. The ones posted out of spiteful ignorance I could do without, but I guess it serves to demonstrate that some folks prefer to remain ignorant.

I enjoy talking about race, as long as people aren't hateful about it. It's an interesting issue that is still very much controversial.

I'm 21 (and I will be 22 in April).

Most racist questions here are meant to cause a reaction. I doubt that 95% of the posters really are racists. They are just looking for attention. I guess im completely indifferent

I don't mind people asking questions politely about something they don't understand, but I cannot stand those that are bigoted, racist, and narrow minded. People just don't seem to realize that when they ask the latter type of questions, all they are doing is displaying their ignorance to the world.

i like productive questions where people are genuinely trying to understand other cultures or races but the questions that are just hateful like "why do indians stink so much?" or "why are the blacks of america sucking up all the welfare?" are just hurtful and unnecessary.
