My own take - The Kaiser could desire to have been held to blame for right here reasons: a million. "sparkling-examine" armed forces intervention on the area of Austria-Hungry against Serbia. Austria-Hungry certainly had reason to invade Serbia, however the way I see it, this became right into a 2 u . s . a . conflict that became a international conflict. international family by utilising the Kaiser with the risk of armed forces action could have prevented Russia from supporting the Serbs. whether no longer, it maximum possibly could have saved Britian and France out. 2. Germany violated Belgian neutrality while attacking France. This became into blantant aggression on behalf of the Keiser. To me, for this reason the Germany took the blame for the conflict and rightfully so. 3. Unrestricted Sub-marine conflict, attacking independent ships and civilian ships. that's what provoked the U. S. into conflict. those factors are what became American sentiment against the Germans and in desire of the allies, albeit, i do no longer see how the U. S. could desire to ever combat a conflict against great Britian and France no longer because of the fact the conflict of 1812. US and British friendship were development ever nearer for a hundred years and that i doubt this bond could be broken.

While your view is a possible reason for war, it is by far not the only reason.
U.S Civil War was fought over competing ideology's.
Spanish Civil War was fought over ideology.
World War II was fought over resources/respect (if you were German) or ideology/defense (if you were American) defense (if you were English)
In your kid example...suppose one kid is being picked on by another kid or one kid stole something from another kid or one kid was beating up all the other kids...at some point there has to be justification for resistance with force.

When he resorts to paying al qaeda to fight as US mercenaries, he's desperate:
Hersh: U.S. Funds Being Secretly Funneled To Violent Al Qaeda-Linked Groups
New Yorker columnist Sy Hersh says the “single most explosive” element of his latest article involves an effort by the Bush administration to stem the growth of Shiite influence in the Middle East (specifically the Iranian government and Hezbollah in Lebanon) by funding violent Sunni groups.
Hersh says the U.S. has been “pumping money, a great deal of money, without congressional authority, without any congressional oversight” for covert operations in the Middle East where it wants to “stop the Shiite spread or the Shiite influence.” Hersh says these funds have ended up in the hands of “three Sunni jihadist groups” who are “connected to al Qaeda” but “want to take on Hezbollah.”
Hersh summed up his scoop in stark terms: “We are simply in a situation where this president is really taking his notion of executive privilege to the absolute limit here, running covert operations, using money that was not authorized by Congress, supporting groups indirectly that are involved with the same people that did 9/11.” Watch it:

Its a little more complex than that. War equals huge profits, for powerful interests. Look into the World bank, Haliburton and Bilderberg group, PNAC.Research them and decide who's to gain.
