Hilary Swank?

Heck, maybe next she'll go to Africa and buy her one of those starving African kids, like Madonna and Brad Pitt recently did.

Hollywood eats that sort of stuff up. However, people (regardless on race) help less priviledged children all the time. Despite the status of the world today their are many people who care about others and are in the position (financially, emotionally, spiritually) to help out.

The name of the movie you are referring to is Freedom Writers and the actress is Hilary Swank. Don't complain just do your part to help someone (anyone) in your circle of existence who may need help!

There are people in the world who do care about others. There are a whole army of women out there who are not movie stars, don't come close to being movie stars who care for abandoned children, bind wounds of 3rd world refugees in war zones, teach poor children after school for free so they can have a better future, get money to buy medicine and get it delivered to those who need it, read to blind people, deliver meals to shut-ins, save abandoned dogs, cats and other pets from uncarrying owners who abandoned them and basically make the world a better place. Yet they never get a mention in the newspaper, no one puts up a statue of one of them in the city park or gives them special award dinners or plaques to put on the wall. Why? Because they aren't movie stars.
