If you have a Gateway computer. Try turning your printer on before you turn your computer on. My computer doesn't recognize my printer unless my printer is turned on first. I have a Epson C6600.

When did this problem first appear? Did you make any changes since the last time you printed successfully?

Is the USB cable connected properly from the PC to the Printer?

First, clear your printer queue. (See the link below for a quick shortcut.)

As was recommended earlier, using the power button on the printer, cycle the power to your printer off and on, then restart your computer.

Try printing again. If it still won't work, uninstall then reinstall the printer driver.

you're on the your best option music in that upkeep; confirm you have chosen the your best option paper type. The strains are in many circumstances led to by the printer attempting to print on straightforward paper once you have put in lots thicker image paper. The printer adjusts how lots ink it places out in step with paper type, and likewise adjusts what you should call a 'concentration' based on the paper thickness. So confirm you have chosen a paper type as close as accessible to what you're using. wish it helps.
