Bush doesn't think he is wrong. He is too stubborn. Even when the rest of the world and a majority of his own people tell him he's wrong he continues. That means he's stubborn, stupid, or both.
Thinking about it further maybe he will apologize at his war crimes trial.

Mr. Larry, Pres. Bush has no reason to apologize for something that he has never done. What ever deluded your mind obviosly makes ignorant of some very simple facts. Such as, Pres. Bush was not around 200 plus years ago, his Texan home his a ranch, not a plantation, and last of all, Pres. Bush is not a representitve of a state anymore, but the Commander in Chief of the US armed forces and a representitive of these United States.

Did the state of Virginia own slaves which they oppressed and maltreated? Does Bush?
No one should be apologizing for something they didn't do. Further, no one should be apologizing for some other person, in this or any other time period. This is ridiculous! Next we'll have the nation of Israel asking for an apology from the Egyptians and it'll go on and on and on...
Just leave the past right where it is and move on, people!

As far as I'm concerned,he hasn't committed any crimes! And why should he apologize for slavery in this nation when the system of slavery that this country once had before the Civil War of 1861 - 1865 was abolished after that war was over?
During the Civil War itself,in January of 1863,Pres.Abraham Lincoln officially abolished the system of slavery that once existed in this country through a speech & document called the Emancipation Proclamation.
Check out the web sites I listed as references for further details.

When did Bush own slaves??? When did his father own slaves? When did his father own slaves? Why should he apologize for something he didn't have anything to do? Maybe the lazy African Americans should get off their asses and stop being 1/2 of the us prison population. Maybe even help their enrollment in College. These would help the Minority far more than some stupid apology.

If he doesn't have slaves then what should he apologize for? And to whom? I don't know of any slavery currently in the U.S. Help us understand?

2 strategies on that front. One is that we already had an particularly big blood atonement for the evils of slavery. It became into called the civil conflict. 2nd, there is not any logical explanation for us as a rustic to no longer make a sparkling assertion approximately in simple terms how foul this 'odd institituion' fairly became into, and how incorrect we've been to institutionalize it.

WTF are you on (sorry if that was a little mean) Bush isnt responsible for what his ancestors decided to do 100 yrs ago, and neither is Virginia. Will this case ever be dropped its just plain annoying. We dont owe any african americans anything anymore and still we continue to pamper there asses with welfare checks and history months. No other race has a history month why should they? Im not racist, but I beleive NO race should receive special attention for ANY reason.

Until there is hard proof that George Bush was responsible for slavery, he will not apologize.

Bush should apologize for the slavery of 300 million Americans who spend half their working lives just paying taxes. He should apologize for growing government, for starting an insane war, for not repealing ONE SINGLE unconstitutional gun control law, for leaving the "war on drugs" in place, and adding the "war on terror" to finish the job of shredding the Constitution, and for being as dumb as a bag of hammers.
But I don't think that, apart from the taxpayers, he ever actually held slaves. I don't pay much attention to Republicans, they only want to shrink government when they're not running it. Give me Libertarianism, or give me death.
