If the communication is great with your friend and her parents the only thing she can try to do is get her parents to understand how it feels to be shut out of normal teenage activities. Unfortunately many parents don't understand that they are guaranteeing rebellion when they create "so called" protective prisons for their children.
My mom was strict, and I came out ok. But sometimes being too strict can backfire. It's obvious that your friend's parents have a trust and a control issue. The only thing your friend can do is to be honest about how she feels about her parents stifling her.
If you friend can't talk to her parents, I suggest she talk with a guidance counselor or social group to release her pent up angst. The worst thing your friend can do is suck it up. She will be angry, resentful, and more importantly she won't be able to communicatve effectively.
Hope this helps....

Do as her parents say until she moves out and gets a place of her own. Then she can hang out all she wants. Some parents are strict for very good reasons.

Her parents probably have their reasons! Always respect them and they will surely mention your name on the top of her OK-friend list. What i mean is...they will be giving more and more freedom as time goes on...and when the do...you will be the friend she is allowed to hang out until late at night. Always Respect your friends parents and your own. It's a crazy world and they are just doing their job as parents by protecting her. I say,"Cheers to these parents!"

I have a friend like that and her curfew is 4:30! Worse than your friend. You can't do much with someone like that really, unless you go over to her house and hang with her and just like pretend you guys are doing homework when her parents are home. Or if they aren't, just do something fun at your house or her house. Have a sleepover. WHATEVER. :)

have your parents met her parents? If not, have them invite your friends parents over to dinner. Have them discuss what you two are going to be doing, and tell them yourself why you want to spend more time with her.

She needs to explain her parents and if they are not willing to relent, she should liberate herselves and show them that things are going to be fine even if she is late by a few hours.
