Bad credit is one of the worst problems to have... however there exists a solution.
I will hereby talk from my personal experience.
I did debt consolidation a couple of years ago, however If I had to do it again I would pay to some minor details,
if someone wants to get out of debt today it is pretty easy with a debt consolidation plan, however it may get a bit tricky at times, I suggest you get as much information as possible online on this first,
a good place to start in my humble opinion is astraight to the point ebook with question and answer I found :
http://umgarticles.atspace.com/debt-consolidation.htm
if it helps kindly remember me in your voting!.. cheers!

Usually it is easier if they offer you a pre-approved card but you can go online and apply, chances are you may get a secured card. Try for in-store credit first because it is easier if you have no points. Don't go to Sears first because they are real tough. Good luck.

Just fill out a Store credit card first.. in your name,, you should be able to get one in your name pretty easy. Then apply after you have good credit for a major.

A few years back Capitol One had a card they offered me to help build my credit. It had a low limit and a yearly charge on it. Try getting ahold of them and seeing what they can offer you to meet your needs.
