He should see an Ear Nose and Throat specialist. Ask his Western physician if he can refer him to the specialist.

If a lung problem is causing one to bleed through the nose, he's on his death bed. Dumb diagnosis.
Your son could have a vein that needs cauterizing, as it is weak and is easily injured. It could be allergies. An ENT could help you find the cause.

Lung problem. Never heard that before but I am not a doctor. I would suggest as above ears nose throat specialist. It could just be dry air. Put a humidifier in his room. This will not hurt and will probably help. It doesn't matter if its a Indian doctor as long as they have been schooled properly. Most likely worst scenario is he needs a vein cauterized. Which my nephew had done and turned out fine. Start with the humidifier while waiting to get into specialist. If he is rubbing his nose hard you must try to get him to stop now before its all over his face, nose that is. Good Luck

When I was a child I had frequent, sometimes bad nosebleeds. I saw a doctor many times. The diagnosis was always just that the veins were close to the surface of the skin, so they would cauterize my nostrils to create some scar tissue. It never worked, but the nose bleeds ended in my 20's.

I have seen Chinese medicine doctors (not for nosebleeds) and had extended treatement with acupuncture and Chinese herbs, with a diagnosis of "damp heat." I found the Chinese traditional treatment to be totally useless, a complete and total waste of money and time. It did no good whatsoever.

This is probably a simple vein in the nose. I had one cauterized to stop frequent nose bleeds in the winter. Dry tissues would crack the vessels coming from my sinus floor. I had it done about 10 years ago and maybe have only one a year now. I was very happy with the results after healing. One thing I wish I'd had tried is warm nasal rinse.

A full warm water saline rinse goes in one nostril and out the other. It soothes with warmth, it draws out the entire gunk and shrinks the tissue (like swimming in the ocean, but without the eye stinging). It will help with nasal dryness and also heal damage.

Buffered salt doesn't 'sting' as much as plain salt water. You can use a new method like Nasopure, or the vintage, Netipot

You can do this as often as you like with no side effects

before seeing anyone about this matter, give a try at using a
humidifier. Nose bleeds occur often where the air is dry. if your sons veins run close to the interior surface of the nasal cavity then a nose bleed is likely to occur. I know it sounds simple,we were successful in using it with my sister.
the winter months are extremely dry can affect any part of the body that is exposed and can make a person appear older than they are, apply lotions, oils to keep skin moist to prevent cracking and scaling. the nose is not exempt from dry air.

My oldest son does an analogous factor yet found out the project. It dry interior the nostril the place the blood vessels is. At night in the previous he is going to mattress positioned vaseline in his nostril throughout that facilitates my son and he would not have nostril bleeds or a nostril spray for dryness might help has nicely.
