Mikkuni's in Sacramento is excellent. They have three locations, downtown (J st), Arden, and the third is escaping me right now but I believe its Roseville. Fuji's in Davis (G st) has mid-range sushi (its great for the price) But I'd recommend going for their all you can eat buffet. Its around $12 and they put out almost anything you can think to ask for as well as various appetizers and sides. All you can eat from 11:30 to 2pm every day.

well, in vacaville there's a buffet place called king's buffet that has all kinds of food, mostly of the oriental and sea variety. it's over by the vacaville dmv.
