So, I'm 28 and no matter what, my period has always shown up without fail. Except strangely, this month it hasn't shown up. I haven't had sex since December, so I can't be pregnant. What could it be? For the last week or so, when I go to the bathroom I've noticed some brown discharge and sometimes I get a little bit of pink when I wipe. But still no blood. What could it be?

Your period could be very light and that brown stuff. Personally, I wouldn't worry about missing a period if you know you aren't pregnant. A lot of things can mess up your cycle and a small list of them are, stress, illness, travel, weight gain, weight loss, exercise, drugs etc etc, I think you see my point. If you continue to stop menstruating for several months, then I would visit a doctor. Of course, none of this applies if you are having other symptoms like severe cramping, etc etc... Good luck and hope this helps!!

sometimes my period gets like that too, especially when i'm excersizing a lot or really really stressed out. make sure you are eating enough of what your body needs. that will also affect it. it's why anorexia causes your period to stop. because your body couldn't handle being pregnant so it makes it so you can't get pregnant. as always tho, you should see a doctor. it could be an STD or something equally serious. it doesn't hurt to just talk to htem. they know what they're tlaking about. ;-)
