Because THINKING people are less likely to vote monolithic or party, which means the liberal vote got split by the Greens. Also, Gore won the popular vote, so your question should be about the viability of the electoral college. P.S. the South is the armpit of America.

While most liberals do regard Bush as a dumb person, they are sensible enough to recognize he was a good campaigner with a huge budget behind him.
And if you think about it, they were fooled. They had reports and information in front of them, suggesting that WMDs are in Iraq. No congressman, conservative or liberal, is going to actually go to Iraq and look for weapons themselves. They have to trust the intelligence placed before them.

Bush didn't win, Rove's mudslinging won. I wasn't fooled when Powell gave his U.N. presentation, but a lot of people were. Nothing he presented carried enough evidence to go to war. I thought it would be better to wait for more proof. And, if we go to war, make it a real war. Seal the borders and disarm the enemy soldiers. That's like military 101.

They didn't lose the election, it was stolen. They cried, cried and cried. When that didn't work, they cried louder and louder and louder. When that didn't work, they said he was Hitler, but a sort of stupid Hitler. They said he caused 9/11 instead of the terrorists, because they didn't like him. They said they hated him over and over and over again. And when they were told to calm down and take their medication, they said they didn't have to. They said they were the smartest people in the world and no one should question them. It's unpatriotic, because patriotism means hating your president and calling him Hitler. Then they won their first election in 6 years and they got a little better. Get ready for the bawling fit if they lose their next one.

They became jealous, simply put. "They were fooled" like the rest of the world with the intel. I really doubt they have the capacity to run this country. Al Gore LOST, so get over it. What is done is done, alright? So enough with the Al Gore stuff already.

your logic is warped on so many levels.
first, the 2000 election wasn't won by Bush, it was handed to him by the supreme court remember!!! i can still picture the republicans in Florida shutting doors to make sure the recount wouldn't take place
second, democrats didn't lose with Bush in office, America did!!!!!!
and third, Bush pimped the war on questionable intelligence knowing that he would use force as a first resort not a last like democrats voting for it wanted!!!!!!!
if you think Bush has been smart in running our country perhaps you need to pull your head out of his CULO!!!!!

See, the problem with your question is that it isn't one. It's just a statement of your opinion and you're hoping everyone will agree with you. Since you've made up your mind and obviously haven't read or listened to or watched any news source that doesn't agree with your already formed opinion, I suspect your mind is not open enough to be changed. Sad.
