Yes you can. They are developing Virus Protectors for your phones

The phone itself IS NOT vulnerable to virus. The computer is subject to viruses while using the phone. Remember, that phone uses ActiveX which is part of Windows and receives and sends digital signals that are transformed voice.

Sure there are newly made nasty viruses circulating out there, but as soon as they are located on the internet, they are identified and stopped. I dont see this as any more dangerous than any other sort of equipment used with the computer. And I wouldnt get too worried about something published in a magazine either as those articles are meant to sell magazines and hype up the situtiation much more than it really is.

I just read an article in a magazine (I can't remember the name of the magazine -- maybe Popular Mechanics?) that said there are some nasty viruses that can attack your cell phones and your computer phones. They are not real prevalent right now, but they're coming.
