is there any other software to use other then i tunes for downloading songs on my i pod shuffle(2g)

no. Apple makes its program iTunes specially for its iPods so you don't use any other program and have to buy songs from them. What's wrong with iTunes anyways?

no. iPods are designed to work with iTunes. you might be able to find something that patch systems together. you can get other music programs to download music, and then transfer them over iTunes.

I download mine from Limewire and put them on my ipod thru my itunes library.
