Well, if you don't have time, maybe go to the animal shelter and adopt some dogs or cats! This way more animals can stay there. Or if you quit your old job, become a veterinarian! That's what I want to be! And you can recycle, which helps plants and animals! You can also eat less meat, or just stop eating meat! You can also help out at a zoo, or donate money to a wildlife fund or a zoo. All of these things will help animals! And maybe teach your kids how to help animals too! Not all of these are jobs, but they really help out the environment and animals!

My niece is a veterinary assistant. She gets to work with the vet when they treat the animals. You would have a full plate if you keep your full time job, too. You can also volunteer to work at a shelter or foster home looking after animals who don't have a home. Most of that type of work is non paying as far as money goes. A friend of mine is a pet sitter. She goes into homes and looks after the pets while the owner is not at home. You may not have to go back to college unless you want to be a veterinarian.

become a vet, or work around them.
work in a shelter, which includes many jobs.
foster animals.
be a dog walker, either privatly or you can go to some shelters and volunteer taking the dogs out everyday.
there are so many different jobs out there that involve animals. you should also narrow it down to helping animals like domesticated animals, or wild birds, or whatever.
you can always volunteer too.

Work with the local humane society.
Talk to them, they can steer you right... , Many of the humane workers in my area are unschooled and only chosen to their ranks by those that are schooled or already have a job in the field. I am sorry to be so blunt, but it's reality if you're in the system.

Have you considered becoming a veterinary technician? There are a lot of programs that you can do from home.

You could be a wildlife rehabilitator, that's what I was thinking of doing.
