No. The winter is colder. Manhattan feels more crowded than London. I find the underground system in New York is far more unfriendly and more annoying than London. The jobs pay less with less holiday time than in London with no corresponding reduction in cost of living. The national leader is more of prat the British leader and as far as I can make, the same comparison can be made of both mayors. All in all, New York is a nice place to visit but not worth moving away from London for.

No way! I don't live in either, but I've been to New York. New York looks beautiful in the night time, but in the morning, it looks like a dumpster!!! Trash everywhere, and it's kinda disgusting. London is beautiful, though.

Nope! London has character and unique, NY is a jungle, too common. I would visit NY, but live in London!

All the best!/

Yes, that would be awesome! I live near New York, but not in it... I would gladly swap for London in a heartbeat; it's my favorite place in the world.

I would gladly move to NY. I love the place. I never want to come home to the UK.
